She becomes close friends with Margaret Porter, and both women share experiences as they raise their families together. When the kids are teens, a horrible accident happens, and one of her twin boys - Felix is killed at the age of 14 years old. Dolores has a hard time getting over the accident, and secretly blames Frank for Felix’s death. Meanwhile Bobby becomes the Apple of Dolores's eye.
In her old age - Dolores lost her husband to a stroke in 2017 when celebrating her birthday. Dolores is just trying to keep things together, and stay in her home - everyone around her is trying to take care of her - when she just wants to take care of herself - as Parkinson's is slowly taking over her body.
-
Bobby Hunter
Bobby is the youngest son of Dolores and Samuel Hunter.
He’s five years younger than the Twins - Frank and Felix. Since Felix’s death, (when Bobby was 6 years old) Bobby has been his mother’s favorite. With that - he feels extra pressure of being both like Felix and still himself. He keeps his troubles and faults away from his mother, and relies on his older brother Frank to clean up any messes he makes. So his mother always thinks of him as the “perfect” son, and as Frank as the “troubled” son, when in reality - it’s actually quite the opposite.
Current Day - Bobby is separated from his wife, and has moved back home with his mother. He’s trying to get back together with his wife. His two children - Damion, and Kendra live together in an apartment in the neighborhood. His wife has their home in Ronald Park. Bobby is one of the managers at Edmunds, a local grocery store. His son, Damion has a job there as well.

When Frank and Felix were 14 years old, a tragic event happened and Felix disappeared from a park where the boys were playing. His body was found a few days later. Dolores, Frank’s Mom has never mourned properly over Felix, and has blamed Frank throughout his life. Frank is very protective of Bobby, and has been the best Big Brother he could possibly be for Bobby - almost spoiling him too much.
Frank is now a doctor, and has a beautiful wife, Athena Brown-Hunter, who’s an Artist and Art Teacher. They have a 17 year old daughter, Justin (JC) Claire Hunter, who’s actually a “They” now. Frank doesn’t understand the “They” thing. But he does want his daughter to be happy. He feels like a “They” because he carries his brother “Felix” around with him - he can never escape the tragedy. Frank and his family live next door to his mother so they can look after her.
-
Athena Brown-Hunter
Athena Brown-Hunter is an Artist and Art Teacher at the local art college.
She fell in love with Frank Hunter in college, and has been married to him for 18 years now. They have a 17 year old daughter named Justine (JC) Claire Hunter, a senior in high school who has recently declared herself a “They.”
Athena has to deal with Mother-In-Law Dolores, who has never seemed to like her, her husband’s “invisible” twin brother Felix, and her daughter, who now calls herself a “They,” while also trying to prove herself as a viable art professor in a male-dominated art college.
Athena would love to move into a bigger house, and move her own parents into the house with her. They are also elderly and frail now. She resents Frank always getting his way. She is also the collector of EVERYTHING!
-
Isabel "Izzie" Lopez Velez
Isabella, better known to all as “Izzie” moves to Rosemary Street as the series starts with her husband Reno Velez, and their 16 year old son, Phoenix. They have just opened up the Lolli Green Boutique and Smoke Shop within the neighborhood. They moved between Dolores’s house and Margaret’s house - so they hear many conversations between the two houses. Izzie is from Puerto Rico - her husband is from Nevada.
They moved to Baltimore because they were able to buy the perfect building for their Cannabis Dispensary. Izzie doesn’t have too much to do with the dispensary - she runs the storefront - which she calls the “Boutique’ while the guys run the smoke shop and dispensary.

They started to see each other last summer and have been together ever since.
Seven months into their relationship - their friend Stashi is finally getting the hint. Joey’s home life is crumbling. His mother is addicted to pills, and now has breast cancer. She lives on Rosemary Street.
