Aubrey is competing in The Voice Finale!
Have you been following Aubrey Nicole's journey on the 28th season of The Voice? We sure have!!
🎯 Who is Aubrey Nicole?
Aubrey Nicole is a 20-year-old singer from Littlestown, Pennsylvania.
She’s a graduate of Delone Catholic High School (2023), and currently studies at Belmont University in Nashville, majoring in commercial music.
Before The Voice, she had some background singing, musical-theater experience, and even acting credits (in the 2022, she was casted in Rosemary Street Series, and plays Stashi Daniels, the oldest teen daughter of Asher Daniels, played by Johnny Alonso.)
Blind Audition: The Big Break
Aubrey’s blind audition aired on October 7, 2025. She sang Burning House (originally by Cam).
Her performance deeply moved her coach, Reba McEntire — Reba turned her chair, saying the sound “went through this chair and hit my heart.” She was so deeply moved by Aubrey's voice and performance.
That moment was especially meaningful because, years earlier, Aubrey had auditioned for Belmont singing another Reba song — so it felt like coming full circle.
🔥 Battles & Knockouts — Early Challenges
In the Battle Round, Aubrey competed against another singer named Cori Kennedy. They sang a duet of Somethin' Bad (by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood).
Although her coach initially chose Kennedy, Reba used her “save” to keep Aubrey on the team — at the same time, another coach, Snoop Dogg, tried to steal her. Aubrey opted to stay on Team Reba.
💖 Knockouts — A Powerful, Personal Performance
In the Knockouts round, Aubrey performed I'm Gonna Love You Through It by Martina McBride. She dedicated the song to her father, who is a cancer survivor.
The performance struck a deep chord with all the coaches — especially Reba, who became visibly emotional.
The other coaches praised Aubrey’s voice and emotional delivery. One said the performance gave him “goosebumps.”
Thanks to that knockout, Aubrey advanced to the Playoffs round.
🌟 Live Playoffs → Finale
As the show continued, Aubrey remained one of the 16 contestants moving into the Playoffs.
On December 1, 2025, her coach Reba McEntire chose her as the one contestant from her team to advance to the live finale. She called Aubrey, “The Whole Package”!
Reba explained her decision by saying that Aubrey “has a way of portraying a lot of emotion — that’s what music is supposed to be about,” adding she thought Aubrey could win the whole competition.
